ESG Hygiene

The Sage Collective, the ESG club of the Department of Professional Studies, is an endeavor to make students aware and practically knowledgeable about Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles formed under The ESG Hygiene Program. The club is also set to launch a Pan-India Governance Project where students are matched with government officials and industry experts. These experts and officials mentor the students in government and corporate policy formulation. This innovative effort enables participants to become responsible citizens and ethical leaders to drive sustainable development and CSR.

The program bridges the gap between theoretical learning and practical application through its engaging approach, with objectives aligned with global sustainability goals.

The Escape Room and Regenesis are some of the events that give students hands-on opportunities to apply ESG principles by gamifying the learning process. In the Escape Room, participants are challenged to solve puzzles and riddles that are focused on sustainability themes, thereby enhancing teamwork and critical thinking. The competition Regenesis gives scope to students to work together to find innovative solutions to real problems facing the world.

Its interdisciplinary collaboration and leadership development push the students to do research on ESG and CSR reporting. The ESG Daily Updates WhatsApp Channel offers information in real-time regarding various global ESG trends and activities for continuous learning. Further, The club has initiated the mentorship initiative, formulated HED Modules for the university on ESG and framed ESG metrics for all the clubs that are operating within the

campus.

The program also aims to make a wider impact by aligning its activities with global goals such as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this way, it addresses issues such as climate change and responsible consumption and pushes for positive changes not only within the university but in the wider community too. The programs launched by The Sage Collective is more than an academic initiative, it's a movement toward a better future. Christ

University has crafted a space that inspires and empowers students to be responsible and purposeful leaders. It shows how education leads to actual change through young minds contributing to a more sustainable and equitable world.
